Okay Cakenista's. Although I have always slightly feared this day...I knew that it would come. The day that I shared one of my most beloved and treasured secret recipes. My chocolate cake. Everyone that tries my chocolate almost instinctively asks for the recipe. And I totally get why, after all, it's a moist cake with a perfect crumb, light texture, and pairs perfectly with my chocolate frosting. It literally doesn't get much better. I've tried many, and I mean MANY chocolate cake recipes throughout the years. I've tried eggless, mayonnaise based, sour cream, and literally nothing compares. I feel like when you have something this good...it's only right to share. So hurry before I change my mind!
In the video tutorial I made enough cake batter for three 8 inch cakes and three 10 inch cakes for another big batch baking video. I'll be posting both recipes below.

CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE
16 Cupcakes or Two 8 inch Cakes
1 Egg
1 C Sugar
1/2 C Water
1/2 C Brewed Coffee
1/2 C Oil
1 1/2 C Flour
1/2 C Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
2 t vinegar
1 t Salt
1 t Baking Soda
